Best desktop theme on windows vista [rainmeter utility]
My Desktop:
Very Simple way to do it. and everything's for free.
1. Get a decent wallpaper from net.
2. Download Rainmeter http://www.ipi.fi/~rainy/legacy.html. [Rainmeter 0.14 (32bit)]
3. Download the skin 10 FOOT HUD.
4. Now Install the rainmeter utility and unzip and copy the 10Foot Hud file in Skins folder[c:/Program Files/Rainmeter/Skins]
5. All set run Rainmeter. Right click on the icon on the taskbar->Configs->Clock date-> select white/black [depending of your wallpaper]
6. Same thing goes for weather. A little trouble is that you have to edit it. firstly got to c:/Program Files/Rainmeter/Skins/10-FOOT HUD/Weather. Right click on the .ini file->properties->security->click on users and then click on ALLOW tabs-> Apply.
7. Now just right click on the rainmeter icon and weather tab->Edit. follow the instructions and get the current weather of the city u like.
*For the calender on the right side.
1. Download rainlender.
2. Then download the skin you like and install.[mine is sidewall].
* Last the one on top is really cool. Its called Object Dock.
This is the basic version the pro version is what I have here. get the pro one to create sortcuts right on one dock. Njoy..!!!
